Description

Pesto is a typical Ligurian condiment, traditionally used to season pasta (especially trofie), gnocchi and lasagna. It is a raw sauce, that is, a compound in which all the ingredients are mixed cold, not cooked. The key ingredients are basil, oil, pine nuts, garlic and Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. The ingredients of Raineri Genoese pesto are of the highest quality; the oil is only extra virgin olive oil and the basil is only Genoese DOP.
