Piedmont toasted hazelnut flour Tonda Gentile I.G.P. The best hazelnut in the world. This is how the Piedmont hazelnut I.G.P. is universally known. The Tonda Gentile Trilobata variety is grown mainly in the province of Cuneo, in the Langhe. Its thin and hard shell, its round shape, its shelf life, the ease with which it can be peeled, the intense aroma released after roasting make it an irreplaceable ingredient in pastry. Hazelnut flour is versatile and useful in many preparations: desserts, spreads, ice creams, spoon desserts, cakes, shortcrust pastry and biscuits. It is also used for baking or for making fresh pasta.
