Pat del Colmel The "Colmello" farm is located on the top of a hill within an ancient rural village called Colmèl dei Pat from which it takes its name. The vineyards extend into the gentle hills of Asolo, open like an amphitheater dominating the hills of the territory; here the particular composition of the soil, the mild climate and the enviable exposure to the sun have always been the best conditions for an optimal cultivation of the vine and a production of high quality wines. The wines that the company produces (with strictly hand-picked grapes) are the fruit of the passion of a family that for four generations has been making great grapes to obtain excellent wines, now in the new and modern cellar. Currently Lino Forner, with the help of his son Matteo, runs the company with great passion. Pat del Colmel The charm of wine comes from its being unique and unrepeatable. Nature and culture, environment and history, vines and men live their synthesis in the "terroir" understood as the dimension in which the secret of each wine has its roots. The native vines carefully preserved over time and rediscovered among the old rows; the Bianchetta, the Rabbiosa, the white Marzemina and the Recantina, heritages in danger of extinction, have been masterfully recovered by the company.
