Aromatic white rice with an elongated grain, Apollo rice originates from the natural cross between an aromatic Asian rice and an Italian rice; it represents the Italian alternative to exotic rice indica such as Basmati and Jasmine. Grown in Piedmont and Sardinia, Apollo Rice adds a fragrant and unique aroma of jasmine to the visual and nutritional properties of white rice. Low in fat and gluten-free, Apollo rice has a short cooking time (10-15 minutes). Apollo aromatic rice, known for its intense aroma reminiscent of jasmine, is ideal for the preparation of side dishes for fish and meats or simply enjoyed with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
