Sardinian gnocchetti are a small pasta format, which thanks to the rounded shape and the striped surface lends itself well to a combination with full-bodied and rustic sauces. Their small shape allows them to be cooked as you prepare a risotto, directly in the pan, perhaps with broth and to slowly flavor with the sauce. Try them with a bacon and cherry tomato sauce or with sausage and tomato.
